Stormy is a seasoned hunter and has retrieved hundreds of ducks and geese and is a true gentleman in the hunting blind. He is quiet, steady, and honors other dogs. His best days this year included a solo teal trip with a limit of 12 birds while standing in the open corn. He also shared several goose hunts with other dogs with limits up to 24 birds.  He received his first Junior Hunter pass at 8 months of age and completed his Junior Hunter title at 11 months of age. He is very steady on the line, does complicated double marks out to 150 yards, and runs blinds extremely hard out to 200 yards.  From the stress and anxiety of the hunt test scenarios he began to bark at the flyers.  He does not exhibit this same reflex while hunting.  Stormy retired from hunt tests after receiveing his first senior qualifying score but continues to hunt waterfowl.  Stormy is an extremely loving pet that would climb into your lap if you let him but really wants you to throw items to retrieve. He constantly carries around bumpers, balls, sticks, or other items looking for someone to play with. He gets along well with children and other dogs. Stomy has sired 1 previous litter and several of those dogs hunted during the 2014-2015 season.  One is also beginning a career in the Dock Dogs Competition.  Stormy’s sire (FC AFC Small Craft Advisory) retired from Field Trials after accumulated 140 All-Age points and qualifying for 8 National events. His dam is Yardley Labs Ms T-Maxx is Qualified All-Age and is currently competing in field trials.  Stormy's is an 85 pound male with the following Health Clearances - OFA Hips Good, OFA Elbows Normal, EIC Clear, and CNM Clear, CERF clear.

Pirate's Ellie of Churn Creek SH is currently running AKC Master events.  Ellie needs 1 more pass to earn her Master Hunter Title and will resume competitions after this litter.  She has hunted waterfowl for the past 3 seasons and has retrieved hundreds of ducks and geese.  Her best hunting day was a solo trip in which she retrieved 25 ducks and 10 geese in 2014.  She is quiet and steady in a blind or outside of the blind watching the action waiting for her release command to retrieve downed birds.   Hunt TestHunHunt EliShe isSShe iShe has several ShShShe S  At AtShe is solid on the line, an incredible marker, and runs challenging blinds with incredible   speed. She runs blinds as hard as she does marks  . She   is lightning fast and overcomes any obstacle presented. She lives to retrieve and does not know the definition of the word “quit”.  Check out some of her videos on our Hunt Test Page.
